Väla in Helsingborg is one of the largest shopping centers in the Scandinavian region and we at Shine Digital were entrusted to deliver our digital wayfinding product Shine Maps. Here you will get a short presentation from Ulrika Nordström, Marketing Manager.
About Shine Maps
Digital Wayfinding - Digital indoor maps. With our proprietary software, we have helped Skandia Fastigheter with digital maps for the Frölunda torg shopping centers in Gothenburg and Väla in Helsingborg. The maps are on specially made stands inside the centers and are developed for iPad OS, but can also run on Android. The stands are delivered together with hardware and software as a complete product, connected via the 4G/5G network. The product includes an administration interface for real-time changes to the content.
There is also a module that can be used as a web version, which is also done on the centers' websites.

Developed for the future
When developing Shine Maps, we used React Native from Expo. This gives us access to the latest technology and ensures easy and cost-effective maintenance of the software, even far into the future.
